Tomorrow’s appointment or a telc certificate?
Courses like Nicos Weg take you step by step to B1 over many months. Your Anmeldung may be tomorrow. BlaueZebra gets you ready for the situation in front of you, and its core vocabulary comes from the official word list of the Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer, so it stays useful when you later study for a certificate. You can use both from day one.
Nicos Weg Deutsche Welle
A free video course from Deutsche Welle, from A1 to B1, with exercises and vocabulary. A good choice for structured study, for example towards a telc certificate.
The words you pick up in BlaueZebra can give you a head start when you begin Nicos Weg. It is a separate course with its own plan, so you can use both.
