When paying remuneration, an employer must provide a payroll statement in text form showing the pay period and composition of earnings, including supplements, other remuneration, deductions, partial payments and advances. It does not have to be a paper document if the legal text-form requirements are met. A new statement is not required if the required information has not changed since the last properly issued statement.
