Notify your employer of incapacity for work and its expected duration without undue delay. If it lasts more than three calendar days, medical certification is normally required by the working day following those three days at the latest. The employer may require it earlier, including from the first day. Statutorily insured employees are usually covered by eAU, but must still notify their employer and have the incapacity medically certified.
